Select the Analyze tab from the Social menu and simply use the drop-down menu to select the Social Streams you would like to see results for, as well as the platforms and charts.
Keep an eye out for the interactivity icon; charts containing this icon in the top-right corner can be selected for more insights.
You can generate the following Social Analysis Charts:
Social vs. Earned Media Coverage: This chart compares the volume of content that comes through for 1 x Social Stream from CisionOne Social and 1 x Mention Stream from the media monitoring platform. Both social volume and earned media are impacted by the configuration of the streams.
Mentions By Platform: Analyze a breakdown of the Social mention volume within the selected date range by platform.
Mentions Timeline: This widget displays the volume of Social items across the defined date range per platform.
TIP: Use this widget to determine spikes in social conversation about your brand or topic.
Sentiment: This chart provides an automated sentiment breakdown of the social mentions within the specified date range on a 5-point scale from Positive, Trending Positive, Neutral, Trending Positive, and Negative.
Please note: Sentiment for CisionOne Social is automated, generated by our machine learning sentiment tool.
Leading Hashtags: Leading Hashtags provides a Word Cloud into the most commonly used hashtags by volume used in relation to your brand or topic within a Social Stream, based on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube data.
Leading Themes: Themes provides a Word Cloud of the most prominent keywords within the Social Stream content, according to keyword volume. This chart provides a good indication of the key themes that are being talked about in relation to your brand or topic.
Share of Voice: This widget provides a Share of Voice breakdown between your selected Social Streams, demonstrating a comparison of social mention volumes. Please Note: Share of Voice will only appear in your Analyse dashboard when you have two or more Social Streams selected.
Share of Voice Timeline: The Share of Voice timeline displays the Share of Voice mention volume over the selected date range, providing a comparison between the selected topics or organizations Share of Voice over time.
Emoji Count: The Emoji Count chart provides the top emoji’s used within the selected Social Streams based on Volume.
TIP: This chart can often be another way to analyse sentiment based on the meaning behind the most frequently used emoji’s towards your topic or brand.
Twitter Influencers: This widget demonstrates the top Twitter influencers that have Tweeted or been mentioned within your selected Social Streams by following.
You can select the Time Frame and Charts you would like to see in your Social Analysis Report via the Date Range Picker.
You can add or remove charts by using the Add/Remove Charts drop-down menu.
Saving Social Analysis Charts
Once you have selected the Social Streams and Charts you would like to see within your dashboard, click the Save button in the bottom right-hand corner to save the report template.
To view a saved dashboard, simply click the Open button in the top right-hand corner to see your saved Social Analysis report templates.
Exporting a Social Analysis Report
You can also generate a PDF or Excel report of your Analyze dashboard by selecting Download PDF or Download XLSX at the top of the page.
Once the report has been generated, you will be alerted within the Alerts Bell at the top of the platform menu bar. Once you click the alert, you can download the PDF Report.
The Social Analysis Reports can also be accessed from the Reports Tab beneath the Analyse Menu.
