This video covers the functionality outlined in this guide:
Connecting your Social Accounts
The first action within the platform is to connect your social profiles to your account.
Click on your initials in the top left corner and select Organisation.
The Organisation screen has an Integrations tab. This tab contains the Connect Page buttons for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter and TikTok.
After clicking Connect Page, a pop-up will appear. From here you'll need to enter your login credentials for that specific social channel.
Some examples are below:
After you've successfully entered your login credentials, the pop-up will close and you'll see that the account has been integrated.
A green tick along with the word Integrated will appear next to the name of the social channel. Below is an example of how this looks with X/Twitter.
Managing Social Accounts
To manage your connected social accounts:
Integrations added for each social media platform can be managed via the “Manage Integrations” button.
In order to refresh existing integrations or add new integrations, use the “Update Integrations” button available at the bottom of the Manage Integrations popup.
Upon using the “Update Integrations” button, the authentication process will have to be followed as usual. After successful authentication, you will be presented with two options: the first is to refresh existing accounts and the second to add any new accounts found.
Composing a New Post
Select + Compose Post from the top left-hand corner of your Calendar view.
Fill out the appropriate fields:
Post Title (how the post will be called in the system)
Account you’d like to post to
Message
Images you’d like to attach
Timing for post (if you’d like to post now or schedule it to post later)
Tags (to help filter your posts in the Calendar and Performance view)
You can select multiple accounts at a time by checking the boxes in the drop-down.
Once you have completed all fields for your new post, a preview of each platform will automatically generate on the right-hand side.
Should you wish to alter the post text for one of your selected platforms, click the Edit Now button at the top of the preview and adjust the message according to the individual platform.
Once your post is ready, click Post Now or Schedule Now (if you are scheduling your post) on the bottom right-hand corner to post.
Depending on your User Role, you will either have the option to Schedule Post, or Schedule Post for Approval which will notify the approvers within your organization that there's a new post ready to be authorized for publishing.
Social posts can also be scheduled via the Monitoring Launchpad by selecting the Schedule a Social Post Action Button.
Your post will now appear in the calendar view for the designated day and time it was scheduled for posting.
To filter your calendar view according to the different post statuses, select one or multiple checkboxes from the filter menu to the right of the calendar view.

Adding Alt‑Text to Images in Engage
To support accessibility on native social media platforms, you can add alt‑text to any image uploaded to an Engage post.
How to Add Alt‑Text
Hover over an image and click the pencil icon to open the alt‑text popup.
If your post contains multiple images, use the carousel at the top of the popup to move between images and add alt‑text to each one.
Applying Alt‑Text Across Platforms and Accounts
Add alt‑text individually per social media platform and account, or
Use the Apply to all social media platforms toggle to reuse the same alt‑text everywhere.
To choose a specific account, click the platform icon and select the account from the list.
Alt‑Text Character Limits
Facebook: No limit
LinkedIn: 4096 characters (recommended: 120)
Instagram: 1000 characters
X/Twitter: 1000 characters
If the character limit is exceeded, a warning will appear and the alt‑text cannot be saved.
Saving Alt‑Text
A green checkmark appears next to each platform once alt‑text has been added.
An indicator also appears on each image thumbnail once alt‑text is present.
Alt‑text is saved with drafts and will appear on the native platform once the post is published.
