The Impact Score helps you understand how important a piece of coverage is in relation to your configured keywords.

How is the Impact Score calculated?

We combine several factors to give each mention a score before assigning it a label (Low, Medium, or High):

  • Sentiment – whether the mention is positive, neutral, or negative

  • Audience size – estimated reach of the coverage

  • Domain authority – credibility of the website or source

  • Entities in the body – mentions of your tracked keywords in the main text

  • Entities in the title – mentions of your tracked keywords in the headline/title (where applicable)

What the labels mean

The score is grouped into three bands:

  • Low Impact: 0–200

  • Medium Impact: 201–350

  • High Impact: 351+

This makes it easy to see, at a glance, how significant each piece of coverage might be for you.
