Viewing AI Visibility Answers in Instant Insights

Learn how to view the prompts, AI-generated responses, detected entities, and citations for AI Visibility chart data in Instant Insights.

AI Visibility Answers lets you view the actual responses generated by AI models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity for prompts related to your tracked entities.

You can access AI Visibility Answers directly from any AI Visibility chart in the AI Visibility dashboard. The answers are automatically filtered based on the data point you select.

Opening AI Visibility Answers

You can open AI Visibility Answers directly from an AI Visibility chart. Selecting a data point automatically filters the answers to match your selection.

  1. In your AI Visibility dashboard, select a data point in the chart you want to explore (an entity row, a timeline point, a journalist, a sentiment segment, etc.).

  2. The chart opens in the Details view showing the AI Visibility Answers tab.

You can also open AI Visibility Answers from the chart’s Edit view. This lets you review answers without applying a specific data point filter.

  1. Select the ellipsis menu (⋮) on the chart.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. In the Details panel, select AI Visibility Answers.

When you open AI Visibility Answers this way, the view is not automatically filtered to a specific chart data point.

Reviewing prompts and answers

The AI Visibility Answers tab shows the prompts and answers associated with your AI Visibility data. For each prompt, you can view the number of detected entities and cited sources. Depending on how you access the tab, the results may reflect the context selected in a chart or display all available results. Select a prompt row to view the associated AI-generated answers, detected entities, and sources.

Select a prompt row to open the individual AI-generated answer cards associated with that prompt.

Each answer card includes:

Filtering and sorting answers

Use the filters at the top of the AI Visibility Answers view to narrow the answers shown.

You can filter by:

  • Model - e.g. show only ChatGPT answers

  • Location - filter by the geographic context of the answer

  • Entity - filter to a specific tracked entity

  • Sort by - latest & oldest

The filters help you focus on answers from specific models, locations, or tracked entities.

Understanding pre-applied filters

When you open AI Visibility Answers by selecting a chart data point, the relevant filters are automatically applied. You can remove a filter by selecting the X on the filter to broaden the answers shown. For example, removing an entity filter lets you view answers for other entities associated with the selected prompt.

The filters applied depend on the chart you select:

How current is the answer data?

AI Visibility answer data is refreshed every 24 hours. The date shown for each answer indicates when it was retrieved

Why are the answers pre-filtered when I open the tab?

When you select a data point in a chart, the relevant context, such as entity, date, model, journalist, or domain, is automatically applied as a filter. This helps you see the answers related to your selection. You can remove any applied filter to broaden the results.

Can I see answers across all entities and prompts, not just the one I clicked?
