Get notified of new Mentions via your Organisation's Slack channels
To create a Slack integration for a Mention Stream, you will need to first enable connectivity between these platforms and your organisation by following the steps below.
Click on your Initials in the top left-hand corner of the screen and select Organisation from the drop-down menu.
From here, select Integrations from the top menu bar then click the Integrate button within the Slack tab
Follow the prompt to give CisionOne access to your Slack workspace.
How to enable Slack notifications for your Mention Streams
Once Microsoft Teams or Slack has been integrated with the CisionOne platform, you can easily create and manage Live Notifications for your preferred Mention Streams by following the steps below.
Open the account menu, select Notifications, and then select + Add notification. Alternatively, open the Mention Stream, select the cogwheel icon, open the Notifications tab, and select + Add notification.
Select the Mention Stream, choose New Mention, and select Next.
Review the media types. All media types are selected by default. Clear any media types that you do not want to monitor. Optionally select Filter by high risk media, then select Next.
Select Slack in the Delivery section. Select a Slack channel, enter the Slack Channel ID, and select Verify.
Note: To find the Slack Channel ID, open the Slack channel, select the channel name at the top of the page, and then select About or Channel details. Copy the Channel ID located at the bottom, paste it into the Slack Channel ID field, and select Verify.
Select Add Notification to save the notification.

Remove Slack connectivity
To remove an integration, open up Integrations in your Account Settings, navigate to Microsoft Teams or Slack and click on Remove Microsoft Teams/Slack Integration to confirm the removal. You can always re-add the integration at a later stage.
