Customization Options

Cision provides several customization options to tailor your reports:

  • Tagging and Filtering: Use tags to include specific posts in your reports.

  • Advanced Filters: Apply filters to refine the data included in Mention Stream Reports.

  • Branding: Add a Brand Profile logo to your reports for a professional touch.

  • Layout Options: Choose from various PDF layouts to present your data effectively.

  • Custom Summaries: Include a summary to provide context or highlight key insights.

Output Formats

Cision supports multiple output formats for your reports:

  • PDF: Ideal for sharing visually appealing reports with charts and mentions.

  • CSV/Excel: Suitable for data analysis and integration with other tools.

  • Combined Formats: Generate both PDF and CSV/Excel versions for comprehensive reporting.

Via Social Stream

Click on the Graph Icon in the top right-hand corner of any Mention Stream.

Generating a PDF or CSV Social Stream Report

  • Generate the report using the default Stream, or navigate to the drop-down menu to select an alternative Social Stream

  • Select your date range

  • Select the social platforms would like to include in the report

  • Select ‘Additional Filters’ to filter by specific Keywords, Author/Handles, Verified Accounts, Minimum Followers, Tags, and/or Sentiment

  • Choose PDF or CSV/Excel report

  • Add your own custom summary (optional)

  • Click Generate Report

  • Access your Report via the Reports tab on the left-hand sidebar

  • Optionally, add a Brand Profile logo to your report for branding purposes

  • Choose the PDF layout (Charts + Mentions, Mentions, or Charts) to customize the presentation of your data

Click on the Reports tab on the left-hand sidebar.

Find your report to review it as a PDF or to view it online.

You can also create a new report by selecting ‘New Report’ and choosing ‘Social Stream Report’.
