How to Access TVEyes Broadcast Clips
Click on any TVEyes broadcast mention in a Mention Stream.
When a user clicks on the item they will be presented with the TVEyes Player.
Archiving
Available for all users who have an account with CisionOne.
Archiving is available for TV and Radio content only. Podcasts cannot be archived.
How It Works
In the broadcast player, there is a button in the right panel called “Edit Broadcast”. A user can archive an item by first setting the start and end time within the player and clicking next. By choosing archive, the user will be shown a warning that the process is complete and then will be taken to a screen which shows that the archive is being processed.
After a few minutes, the archiving process will be complete.
When a user returns to the item in the Mention Stream, the media card will have a clear indicator letting the user know which content is archived. Users can view either the archived clip by clicking anywhere on the card or on the View Full Broadcast link to view the original broadcast.
Archived content will only affect the user who archived it, all other users will only see the player. If other users want to avoid the item not being playable after 28 days then each user will have to archive the item as needed.
If the same item appears in another Mention Stream, then the archived item will appear instead if the keywords fall within the same timeframe.
Reverting Media Items
A media item can be reverted by clicking the three dots at the top right of the card, also known as the Action Menu, at clicking ‘Revert to the original clip’.
Replacing an Archived Clip
A media item can be replaced by clicking the three dots at the top right of the card, also known as the Action Menu, and clicking ‘Replace Archived Clip’. This option is also available in the broadcast player itself.
Media Page
All archived items will appear in a tab called Media.
On the Media page, users can see all archived items from all users in their organization. The details on each of the card:
The original channel and time of airing
Who archived the item
The date it was archived
Ability to play the item
Note: If a user has archived the item, it will replace the player in their Mention Stream but appear for all organization users in the Media Page.

FAQs
Q: (For Streem only) Can I share Instant Edit Media Items/Transcripts straight from the media tab?
A: No. Any Instant-Edit Media Items/Transcripts cannot be shared from the media tab. This feature is available only for content supplied by TVEyes.
Q: Why do the “View In CisionOne/Streem” links depend on the user that opens the links?
A: The “View in CisionOne/Streem” links take the user to the platform to view the content. When a mention is archived, it is only available to the user that archived it. Hence, even though the mention is shared, only the person that archived the content will be able to view the archived mention in the app using the “View in CisionOne/Streem” link. Any other user will see the full broadcast content. This limitation applies only when content is accessed in the app. Users will be able to access both the archived and the full broadcast content through the external links available across all methods of sharing.
Q: When does the external page containing the archived content expire?
A: The external page containing the archived content will expire 7 days after it was shared. This expiry is the same as when full broadcast is shared. This is currently a compliance requirement and hence cannot be amended.
Q: When syndications are grouped, what happens when I click on the syndicated links.
A: When you click on any link in the syndications list, you will always be redirected to the full broadcast link.
Q: What happens when syndications are grouped and ungrouped in any CSV report?
A: When syndications are grouped, the link generated in the URL column will depend on whether the source that was archived shows up as the main syndication. If the parent syndication is the clip you archived then the URL column will contain the link to the archived clip. Otherwise it will be a link to the full broadcast content. Similarly for ungrouped syndications, the archived clip will be available only for the mention (source) that you archived. Full broadcast links will be available for all other sources. View In CisionOne/Streem column will work as mentioned in the table above.
Eg. Mention A is syndicated. Its parent source is Source X and the other source is Source Y. The clip from Source X has been archived. If you run a CSV report with the “group syndication” option, then you will see a link to the archived content since Source X is the parent syndication. However, if the clip from Source Y was archived, the link available in the report would be for the full broadcast. If you run a CSV report and leave the syndications ungrouped, then you would get the archived link for Source X and the full broadcast link for Source Y.
Q: When keyword excerpts are displayed in reports (e.g CER report), which excerpts are shown?
A: Even though the clip has been archived, the excerpt displayed in any report will be the full broadcast excerpt. This is because it is possible that the excerpt for clipped up archived content may not contain the keyword. Hence in order to make sure the reports are consistent, the excerpts shown will always be based off of the full broadcast content.
