Catching a sudden surge in coverage, a sentiment shift, or a spike in social shares usually means someone has to be watching the right stream at the right time — and by the time they notice, the moment's often already passed. Reacting after the fact isn't much of a strategy when timing is everything.
This update fixes that. Spike Notifications are now live on the Monitoring platform, alerting you the moment there's a surge in volume, sentiment, or social activity — no manual checking required. Alongside it, we've rolled out a set of quality-of-life improvements to the whole notifications experience, based directly on your feedback.
With this update you can:
Get ahead of spikes automatically – Receive alerts the instant there's a surge in coverage, sentiment, or social shares, without needing to manually monitor metrics stream by stream.
Set up notifications in a smooth, guided flow – The entire notification setup has been redesigned as a simple step-by-step workflow, making it faster and clearer to configure.
Notify anyone who needs to know – Send notification emails to other users in your organisation, distribution lists, or even people without platform access.
Tune sensitivity and filter with precision – Adjust thresholds and apply advanced, notification-level filters so alerts only fire for coverage that actually matters, no new Mention Streams required.
Understand the "why" behind a spike – Turn on optional AI Summaries for extra context on the coverage driving your alert.
Visualise the spike instantly – A Coverage Volume chart is now built into the email notification, so you can see the shape of the spike at a glance

Surfacing AI Visibility Usage
AI Visibility monitoring runs on an answer allowance — every prompt sent to an LLM and every response collected counts against it. Without visibility into that number, it's easy to hit the ceiling without warning, and suddenly your charts just stop refreshing with no explanation.
This update puts that usage front and centre. You can now see exactly where your organisation stands at both the dashboard and organisation level, with clear warnings before you run out and a straightforward explanation if you do.
With this update you can:
See your usage at a glance – AI Visibility usage is now surfaced as a percentage in both the dashboard header and the organisation page, so you always know where you stand.
Get an early warning before you run out – The dashboard indicator turns orange at 80% usage, showing the exact count (e.g. 7,200/9,000), last refresh time, and credit reset date, giving you time to contact your Account Manager.
Know exactly when you've hit the limit – At 100%, the indicator turns red and a tooltip confirms data has stopped refreshing, along with the last successful refresh and scheduled reset time.
Avoid unexpected gaps – Charts keep showing historical data up to the last successful refresh, so nothing disappears — it simply stops updating until the allowance resets or is increased.
Get a clear message if you try to add more – Attempting to set up a new AI Visibility configuration while at the limit shows a direct prompt: "You've reached your AI Visibility allowance limit. Contact your account manager to increase it."
