AI Visibility credit usage is available throughout the platform, allowing you to monitor consumption, review remaining allowance, and identify when usage is approaching the configured limit.
Viewing AI Visibility Usage
AI Visibility usage can be viewed from Organization Settings > Usage or from the percentage indicator displayed in the AI Visibility dashboard header.
Organization Settings
Super users can navigate to Organization Settings > Usage and view AI Visibility usage under Organization Limits. This area displays total answers consumed, remaining allowance, and the allowance reset date.
AI Visibility Dashboard
The percentage indicator is displayed in the dashboard header next to the ellipsis (⋮) menu. Hover over the indicator to view usage information, the last refresh date, and the credit reset date.
Grey (below 80%): AI Visibility monitoring is operating normally.
Orange (80% or above): Usage is approaching the allowance limit. A warning tooltip displays the current usage, last refresh time, and credit reset date.
Red (100%): The allowance has been exhausted, and data refreshes stop until the allowance resets or is increased.
Calculating AI Visibility Credit Usage
AI Visibility usage is based on the number of prompts, AI models, and locations included in your monitoring configuration.
Each time a prompt is sent to a large language model (LLM) and a response is collected, one answer is counted against your organization's AI Visibility allowance.
The number of answers consumed depends on the number of prompts, AI models, and locations included in your monitoring configuration. Monitoring a larger set of prompts, querying multiple AI models, or tracking multiple locations can increase answer usage
The maximum number of answers collected can be estimated using the following formula: Prompts x Number of Models x Number of Locations
For example, running 100 prompts across three AI models and three locations can generate up to 900 answers per day.
Reaching the AI Visibility Allowance Limit
When your organization's AI Visibility allowance reaches 100%, the following restrictions apply:
New AI Visibility data is no longer collected until the allowance resets or is increased.
Existing charts continue to display historical data from the last successful refresh.
The usage indicator tooltip displays additional information, including the last successful refresh date and the next credit reset date.
New AI Visibility configurations cannot be created on charts, templates, or dashboards while the allowance limit has been reached.
A message is displayed: “You’ve reached your AI Visibility allowance limit. Contact your account manager to increase it."

How often do AI Visibility credits reset?
AI Visibility allowances reset monthly. The reset date is displayed in Organization Settings > Usage and in the tooltip shown when hovering over the dashboard usage indicator.
What counts as one answer?
Each large language model (LLM) response collected for a single prompt, counts as one answer toward your organization's AI Visibility allowance.
Why is my AI Visibility dashboard no longer refreshing?
Dashboard data stops refreshing when the organization's AI Visibility allowance has been exhausted. Historical data remains available until the allowance resets or is increased.
Can I create a new AI Visibility dashboard after reaching the allowance limit?
No. New AI Visibility charts, configurations, and dashboards cannot be created while the allowance limit has been reached. You must wait for the allowance to reset or contact your account manager to increase it.
Why is my credit usage increasing?
Credit usage increases as prompts are run across selected AI models and locations. The total number of answers collected is determined by the number of prompts, AI models, and locations included in the monitoring configuration.
