The Follower Growth chart in Instant Insights helps you track follower counts over time across your integrated social accounts. You can compare follower trends across social platforms or focus on a specific platform or account.
You can select:
Accounts across multiple social platforms
Multiple accounts from the same platform
A single account
When you select multiple accounts from the same platform, the chart combines their follower counts at the platform level. For example, if you select multiple Facebook accounts, their follower data is combined and displayed under Facebook rather than as separate series for each account.
Adding the chart
To add the Follower Growth chart to your Instant Insights dashboard:
Create a new Instant Insights dashboard or open an existing dashboard for editing.
Select Add Chart.
In the Add New Chart panel, search for the chart title.
Select the chart to add it to your dashboard.
Details panel overview
To explore additional chart details and settings for the Follower Growth chart:
Select the ellipsis menu (⋮) on the chart and select Edit.
Use the tabs in the Details panel to configure the chart and select the social accounts you want to include.
The Details panel includes tabs for:
Chart: Configure how follower data is displayed.
Social Accounts: Select the integrated social accounts whose follower data you want to include.
Labels: Customize the chart title and add an optional description.
Using the Chart tab
Use the Chart tab to configure how follower growth data is displayed.
Select Date Range: Choose a preset date range from the left panel or specify a custom range using the From and To fields.
Select Chart Type: Select the required chart type from the Select Chart Type drop-down list.
View by: Choose how the data is grouped over the selected date range, such as by day, week, month, quarter, or year.
Using the Social Accounts tab
Use the Social Accounts tab to select the accounts you want to include in the Follower Growth chart.
Select the Social Accounts tab.
Under Accounts, open the account selector.
Select the integrated social accounts you want to track. You can select accounts across different social platforms, multiple accounts from the same platform, or a single account.
Select Confirm.
Note: If the account you want to use is not available, select Add account. You are taken to Organization > Integrations, where you can manage your social integrations. After the account is integrated, you can select it from the Accounts list.
Using the Labels tab
Use the Labels tab to customize the chart title and add an optional description. The description appears when users hover over the information icon beside the chart title.
In the Labels tab, you can:
Title: Enter a custom chart title or to restore the original title select Reset to default title.
Description: Add an optional summary that explains the purpose of the chart, highlights key findings, or provides additional context for viewers. To restore the default description, select Reset to default description.
Select Save to save your changes.
