The Follower Growth Benchmark by Account chart in Instant Insights presents follower counts in a table and provides a breakdown for each selected integrated social account across time periods. Unlike the Follower Growth Benchmark chart, which aggregates follower counts by social platform, this chart lets you compare follower counts at the individual account level.
You can add up to 12 integrated social accounts to the chart.
The table includes:
Account: The individual integrated social account.
Previous period: The follower count for the preceding comparison period.
Selected period: The follower count for the selected date range.
Percentage change: The percentage difference in follower count between the two periods.
Adding the chart
To add the Follower Growth Benchmark by Account chart to your Instant Insights dashboard:
Create a new Instant Insights dashboard or open an existing dashboard for editing.
Select Add Chart.
In the Add New Chart panel, search for the chart title.
Select the chart to add it to your dashboard.
Details panel overview
To explore additional chart details and settings for the Follower Growth Benchmark by Account chart:
Select the ellipsis menu (⋮) on the chart, and then select Edit.
Use the tabs in the Details panel to configure the chart and select the social accounts you want to include.
The Details panel includes:
Chart: Configure the date range for the follower count comparison.
Social Account: Select the integrated social accounts you want to include.
Labels: Customize the chart title and add an optional description.
Using the Chart tab
Use the Chart tab to configure the periods included in the Follower Growth Benchmark by Account chart.
Select Date Range: Choose a preset date range from the left panel or specify a custom range using the From and To fields.
For example, if you select September 24, 2026, through October 23, 2026, the chart compares the follower count with the preceding period, August 25, 2026, through September 23, 2026.
Using the Social Account tab
Use the Social Account tab to select the integrated social accounts you want to include in the Follower Growth Benchmark by Account chart.
Under Accounts, open the account selector.
Select the accounts you want to compare and then select Confirm.
Note:
If the account you want to use is not available, select Add account. You are taken to Organisation > Integrations, where you can manage your social integrations. After the account is integrated, you can select it from the Accounts list. You can add up to 12 accounts in the chart.
Using the Labels tab
Use the Labels tab to customize the chart title and add an optional description.
Title: Enter a custom chart title. To restore the original title, select Reset to default title.
Description: Add an optional description that explains the chart's purpose, highlights key findings, or provides additional context. To restore the default description, select Reset to default description.
Select Save to save your changes.
