The Instagram Public Account Follower Growth chart in Instant Insights helps you track changes in follower counts for public Instagram accounts over a selected time period. You can add up to 12 public accounts and compare their follower growth over time.
You can use the chart to monitor accounts such as competitors and compare how their follower counts change over time.
Adding the chart
To add the Instagram Public Account Follower Growth chart to your Instant Insights dashboard:
Create a new Instant Insights dashboard or open an existing dashboard for editing.
Select Add Chart.
In the Add New Chart panel, search for the chart title.
Select the chart to add it to your dashboard.
Details panel overview
To explore additional details and settings for the Instagram Public Account Follower Growth chart:
Select the ellipsis menu (⋮) on the chart, and then select Edit.
Use the tabs in the Details panel to configure the chart and select the public Instagram accounts you want to include.
Using the Chart tab
Use the Chart tab to configure how follower growth data is displayed.
Select Date Range: Choose a preset date range from the left panel or specify a custom range using the From and To fields.
Select Chart Type: Select the required chart type from the Select Chart Type drop-down list.
View by: Choose how follower data is grouped over the selected date range, such as by day, week, month, quarter, or year.
Using the Social Accounts tab
Use the Social Accounts tab to select the public Instagram accounts you want to include in the Instagram Public Account Follower Growth chart.
Under Accounts, open the account selector.
Select the accounts you want to compare and then select Confirm.
Using the Labels tab
Use the Labels tab to customize the chart title and add an optional description.
In the Labels tab, you can:
Title: Enter a custom chart title. To restore the original title, select Reset to default title.
Description: Add an optional description that explains the chart's purpose, highlights key findings, or provides additional context. To restore the default description, select Reset to default description.
Select Save to save your changes.
