Use the Search Bar to locate Available Content in the CisionOne Platform

An accompanying video to this guide is available below.

While you can create a new Mention Stream to monitor and report on breaking news and emerging issues outside your Keyword Media Brief, you can also use the Search Bar to identify additional coverage relevant to your organization. The 'Available Content' option within the Search Bar allows you to locate and access further Print, Online, TV, Radio, Podcast and Influencer Social content across CisionOne's comprehensive media source base (in line with your Service Level Agreement).

To conduct an Available Content Search, begin by typing a keyword, topic or article title into the Search Bar.

Click ‘enter’ on your keyboard.

This will display all coverage that matches the keyword, topic or article across our available sources. By default, the coverage results will be filtered to today's date, but you can adjust this by using the arrows or by selecting the date picker.

You can also filter your results by Media Type or by Source. The dials icon next to Sources lets us use Advanced Filters. There is more information on Advanced Filters here.

Once your preferred filters have been applied, you can also click on the ellipses menu to interact with the coverage.

TIP: As demonstrated above, ensure to structure your search in two stages by first entering your keywords (e.g. interest rates) and then separately entering your filtering specification in the relevant field.

The Search Bar also allows you to locate:

Coverage currently available on your platform within Managed or Custom Mention Streams via the Coverage Search
