Note: AI Visibility Dashboards are available as a paid add-on to the CisionOne platform. For more information, please get in touch with your Customer Success Management (CSM) or Account Manager (AM).
You have the flexibility to add individual AI Visibility charts to an existing dashboard rather than using the full AI Visibility Dashboard template.
To add individual AI Visibility charts to an existing dashboard:
In Instant Insights>Dashboards, select an existing dashboard and select Edit.
Select Add Chart in the dashboard toolbar.
Select an LLM based chart (color coded green), then select Set up AI visibility.
The charts available are:
LLM Word Cloud;
LLM Sentiment;
Top Cited 100 Domains;
Top Cited Journalists;
Top Cited Media Outlets;
Average Visibility Benchmark;
Coverage Volume Timeline;
Media Outreach and Coverage Timeline;
Share of Voice - Total Mentions;
Share of Voice Timeline - Total Mentions;
Coverage Volume and Stock Price.
Select your AI model and location, enter your brand and prompt description, then generate your prompts and create the project directly from the chart.
AI Model – the AI models to monitor (e.g., OpenAI, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview, Mistral, DeepSeek, Grok)
Location –the geographic market(s) to target (include multiple countries, if needed)
Brand Name – the brand you wish to monitor
Prompt Description - describe what you want to monitor.
Refer to the Prompt Description tips to the right. Enter a brief description of your brand or topic (e.g. "Coca-Cola vs Pepsi comparison") and select Suggest. The AI auto-generates up to 100 relevant prompts that simulate real user queries across categories such as:
Discovery – "best tools for X"
Comparison – "X vs Y"
Consideration – "is X good?"
Review, edit, add, or remove prompts by selecting Add/Edit prompt, which appears after prompt generation.
A prompt counter, to the right of the Generated Prompts title, tracks how many prompts you've used out of your allowance.
Once you are happy with your prompts, select Confirm.
Select Create Project to proceed to the next step.
The dashboard is saved, and your selected LLMs are queried and the responses analyzed. This process can take some time. A loading screen appears while it runs; select Continue to close it and keep working.
A status bar indicates that your dashboard data is being generated.
You'll receive an email notification and an in-app alert once your entities are ready for review. To view the alert, select the bell icon in the top navigation bar.
Note: If you see the AI Visibility initialisation failed error message within the status bar, you should repeat the steps to setup the AI Visibility settings.
Once processing is complete, the status bar shows that your AI visibility data is ready and that the top five entities have been selected. Select Review in the status bar to review them.
Select the entities you want tracked in your charts, the top 5 are pre-selected by default. Select Confirm to proceed.
The selected entities are updated.
View the generated chart with updated entities.
